Kitui County CECM for Tourism, Sports and Culture hon Patrick Koki , FKF Chairman Mr. Gilbert Mutema together with Chief Officer Mr. Zakayo G Kimanzi on Tuesday held a meeting with officers from Football Kenya Federation Kitui Branch and Kitui County Football teams participating in Division two League, the teams are; Majengo Heroes, Super Solico and Mwingi Junior Stars.

Kitui County Government in line with Governor H.E Hon Charity Kaluki Ngilu’s Manifesto’s Pillar number 3 for empowering youth through naturing their talents is devoted to supporting youth development and has for this tournament supported these teams on registration and participation fees in Division Two.

The County Government of Kitui through County Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture has also offered transport to the players for all away matches and also given the teams playgrounds within Kitui County without any charges/fee.

As Kitui County Government continues to support these teams and strongly supporting our able Governor to realize her campaign manifesto dream to Kitui County electorates.

we welcome Kitui County residents to openly continue offering support as fans during the match competition days so that they can boost players morale.

Other Officers in attendance were; Deputy Director of Sports Esther Mutemi, Alex Mutio Secretary FKF, Ammar Khalid Super Solico FC, Morris Masila Majengo FC and Ann Mutanu Mwingi Junior Stars among other members of the participating teams.
