KITUI SOUTH MP DEMANDS TRANSFER OF LOCAL POLICE CHIEFS OVER INSECURITY.
Kitui South Member of Parliament Dr Rachael Kaki Nyamai wants local police chiefs in Mutha Area overhauled following the killing of a civilian by suspected Somali herders on Sunday.
Hon Kaki blamed the police for the increased insecurity in the area. She said that the local police led by Mutha OCS have always been compromised by the Somali herders who bribe them so that they never respond once residents raise an alarm.
The MP called upon the government to flush out the herders who have infiltrated mutha area of Kitui South so as to end frequent killings and other acts of lawlessness.
Hon Kaki further urged Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and Police Boss Joseph Boinnet to act swiftly and end this Mutha ward insecurity..
