In a bold and philanthropic move that has astounded many, incoming Kitui Senator Stephen Mutua Kilonzo has paid full school fees for the girl for a full year, and he will continue to pay whether he bags the election or not.
She was received by Muslim Principal and the entire schools leadership, principal thanked Stephen Kilonzo for the good work and wished him all the best.
‘I have therefore decided to educate the bright girl who comes from a very poor background and I urge all other aspirants to help needy members of the community. Helping the poor is helping God” he said.

The bright girl child named Sarafina Kanini Musangi scored 324 marks in the 2021 KCPE Examination.
Born in Kitui Central, Musangi sat her KCPE at Kwa Ukungu Primary School a but she had not join secondary school even as guardian appealed for help from well-wishers. Last week, aspiring Kitui County Senator Stephen Mutua Kilonzo came to her rescue and pledged to pay her school fees for a full year.
Initially she was called to join St Monica Mulutu, St Patrick Girls, Mbiuni,,, and St. Mary’s Girls in Machakos County but could not report due to abject poverty in the family, the local media reported.
