Kitui Senator hon Enoch Wambua on Tuesday received outstanding applause from netizens for standing with kenyans in matters against embezzlement of public funds.
Senator Wambua won the heart of many kenyans during a heated Senate debate following the impeachment of kirinyaga Governor Anne waiguru.
Speaking on the floor of the senate-house, wambua said “I have listened to the elected leaders of kirinyaga county, I have consulted far and wide, the allegations levelled against the governor should be subjected to the plenary and not the selected committee.
Forty-five (45) senators voted in support committee to grill the embattled Governor Waiguru while only fourteen (14 ) pushed to have the governor be tried by the whole senate.
