Kitui Senator on the Spot Over illegal Sand Mining

Kitui Senator Hon Enoch Wambua has been accused by the local residents and County Government administration for illegally approving the harvesting of sands in Kitui West sub County.

The COUNTY DIARY has established that the Chinese contractor has no authorization whatsoever from the County Government of Kitui and alleges that they were given express “approval” to mine sand by Sen Enoch Kiio.

The Sub-County Administrator (Mike Kittivo) accompanied by Kauwi Ward Admin, OCS Kabati and the Security Team jointly stopped the operation forthwith
