Decorated professional Mr. Paul Ngula Kitungu has been shortlisted for the office of the speaker of the kitui County assembly.
The election of the Speaker of kitui will be held on Wednesday 21st century September at the assembly chambers
Hon. Paul Ngala Kitungu is a political Scientist and renowned administrator Hon. Paul is a Frontrunner for the Speaker race in kitui.
He comes from Mwingi Central Sub-county of Kitui County.
Education and Career
Alumni of St. Charles Lwanga School-Kitui, and The University of Nairobi where he studied his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration and a Masters’s degree in International Relations.
He holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and Works Ethics and Customer Service from the Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA).
Working Experience
Over 23 years of experience with the Government of Kenya, the UN, and the US Government at the Management, Program, and Policy levels. He has earned himself many awards for distinguished service over years.
Political career:
Paul has actively been involved in politics right from students’ Politics in SONU, National and County politics. In the 1997 General election campaigns, he joined the youth Wing for Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka in Mwingi North has remained actively involved in strategy teams for candidates in different political positions to present.

Paul Kitungu’s over 23 years of public service with the GoK, the UN, and the USG is a clear indication of good Values and Hard work, Integrity, Transparency, and Honesty.
He aspires to bring on board his expertise and experience to serve the people of Kitui as the Speaker of the County Assembly.
