The chief Officer For Finance Mr Enoch Nguthu has dismissed the publication on one of the mainstream paper which had placed kitui county as among counties which have been denied funds by the National Treasury over pending bills.
I’m not sure which newspaper this is but certainly, it’s a source of information is not accurate. Kitui has not been denied funds.

All counties, including the national government, have pending bills but kitui is within accepted thresholds
