Kitui: Ngilu Holds Systematic Review of CLIDP Projects With Cabinet Members


Governor’s Press Service. On Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Kitui Governor Ngilu holds a systematic review of a community-level based infrastructure development project.

An in-depth and systematic review of the community-level Infrastructure Development Program, the governor of kitui on Tuesday held a managerial review of the ongoing community level based infrastructure development popularly known as   CLIDP project.

This systematic review has informed the need for an upward review of some unresponsive projects; all this part of the contents of a special cabinet paper tabled today before Governor Charity Ngilu during the senior county management team meeting.

Further, informed by various site visits conducted by the senior management team last week, a detailed report consisting of the level of completion and impacts of these projects was also tabled.

Speaking to the team, Governor Ngilu reiterated the need for the team to guide local beneficiary communities to cultivate a sense of ownership towards the projects to ensure the full benefit and at the same time to ensure proper maintenance of the same.
