The low-laying like an antelope Kitui Rural Mp Mwalika Mboni is at it again, this time round being accused of embezzling thousands of Harambee monies meant for purchasing of a school bus.

KRC professionals this morning took to social media to question the accountability of the funds raised on 6th of Aug 2020 in an event held at Muvitha Secondary School in Lower Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward. The function sought to raise funds to buy a school bus for the Institution.

And in what seems the turn of events, months later, the Mp last weekend launched a bus with full sponsorship from the KRC NG-CDF kitty sending cold shivers down the spines of the key stake holders of the Harambee questioning how was the funds raised during the Harambee were used. The office of the Mp and the school management remained mum on the matter until the time this article was published.

However, in a heated online debate, the former county assembly Minority leader, and Kwa Vonza MCA Hon John Kisangau came to rescue the Mp, saying MP is on record saying that NG- CDF will fully purchase the school bus, He has honoured his promise to my people. All the money we contributed was used to put up 2 decent blocks for the principal and his deputy including and tower.

Muvitha community is very grateful, Mbaki Mbaki added..

This is not the first time the first time silent MP is being accused of poor leadership and patronage of public resources, two years ago, the MP was on limelight after a cheque of more than a 100k from CDF surfaced online issued to KMTC lady who would later be alleged to her side dish.

However, his social media goons took to social media to silence the move arguing that the matter is under investigation and soon the motive would be unearthed and settled. It came to pass without an amicable solution.

For now, it remains a matter of when not if the MP will be chased out of the seat come 2022 over enormous malpractices with his cronies.
