Tourism minister Koki Musau has paid a visit and consoled 2 victims who were attacked by marauding buffaloes on Monday.
The two are Thomas Kioko from Kitui East Sub-County,
Mutitu Kaliku Ward.
Attacked by a stray Buffalo while going to get his cattle from his shamba around 6pm.He sustained serious injuries on his chest and both legs.The other badly Injured Victim is Mrs Trapister Muema from the same ward, Matia village.
She sustained multiple Injuries on her body ranging from a deep cut on her left chest, neck and thighs. She also sustained head injuries as she tussled with the beast.”On my own behalf and on behalf of HE Governor Charity Ngilu, we are sorry for your injuries and suffering.
We stand with you during this time. The governor wishes you a quick recovery” the minister told the victims.Waziri said that the county government is working with KWS to ensure the wild animals are contained in their habitat.
