
Kitui Deputy Governor H.E Dr Wathe Nzau, on Saturday joined hundreds of mourners during the send off ceremony of the late Josephine Kasungwa Ngui, (elder sister to CECM Patrick Musau Koki,) at Kavuwani Village in Kiomo/Kyethani Ward, Mwingi West Sub County.
In the speech read by Dr Wathe, H.E Governor Charity Ngilu lauded the late Josephine Kasungwa Ngui as a great mother and a staunch Christian who raised her family in a very steadfast Christian values and greatly supported them in their education.
Dr Wathe, termed CECM Patrick Musau as a strong and dependable Cabinet member in Governor Ngilu’s Government and a very strong pillar in his family and Kitui West community at large.
Mr Musau, is the CECM in Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture and also the Acting CECM in the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Other senior officers who accompanied the Deputy Governor was the Kitui County Secretary Dr Joshua Chepchieng, CECM for Agriculture, Water and Livestock Development who is also the Acting CECM in the Ministry of Education, ICT and Youth Development Emanuel Kisangau and the Acting Chief Officer in the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Ms Evelyn Musembi.
Also present was the MCA Kiomo/ Kyethani Ward Hon James Musyoka, Mumoni MCA Hon Johnson Kanandu and MCA Mwingi Central Ward Hon Mary Kanini Philip, among other leaders.
