Kitui: MCA Musee Mati Wins Big as Ngilu Pumps MORE Projects In Mutonguni



On Thursday April 29 2021-
It was a joyous day for the residents of Mutonguni ward as the County Government of launched the construction projects in Kamulaani – Mwatate- Kiluilu- Kiukuni- Kwa- Ndeme – Kiatine Nazarene.

The road will be constructed at a cost of seven million.

The crucial road will connect Musengo location to other parts of the ward as it cuts across the location.

The Scope of work:

The road has a length of 7.6 km, the contractor is expected to erect two billboards at strategic places.

The site clearance will involve opening of the road 9ms wide, levelling of hilly points, culverts Installation, construction of slabs and the installation of a drift.

Speaking during the event MCA Eng Mati commended Kitui Governor Charity maluki Ngilu for awarding Mutonguni this project and other ongoing projects.

“He urged for unity between the contractor and the residents,
Further asking the contractor to use local materials and labour to uplift the livelihood of the residents”

Mati promised to continue working closely with the Governor for the benefit of the people of Mutonguni.

Musengo location is also benefiting with other projects i.e fencing of Musengo vocational training centre, Lighting of Ngesu market and Kiukuni – Kakumuti via usi umu river and the construction of Nguuni primary ECDE classroom.
