On Wed, Jan 6, 2021 – Kitui County Textile Centre KICOTEC received fourty Thousand Meters of fabric from the Adminstration Police Training College APTC’s Liaison officer Mr Josphat Koome.
The material is an expansion of an already existing order for making uniform for the National Government Administrative Officers NGAO, the company got in December last year.
KICOTEC has been making uniforms for the Administrative officers following President Kenyatta’s directive during the launch of Huduma Number registration drive in Masai Machakos County last year, the COUNTY DAILY REPORTS.
KICOTEC is one of the facilities that is seen as a crucial contributor towards the President’s Big Four Agenda, the Governor Charity Ngilu told reporters.
The President’s Manufacturing agenda focusses on job creation through the “Buy Kenya Build Kenya Initiative”.
The replica which the Governor of Kitui Charity Ngilu has been implementing.KICOTEC has so far produced thirteen thousand seven hundred and forty pieces for the National Government Administrative Officers.
