At least three teachers have been confirmed dead following Al-Shabab attacks in Garissa county, Un confirmed reports is two teachers are said to be from kitui county, Kitui KNUT Secretary General Mr Ndingo has Condemned the attacks and asked the state to beef up security in all schools in the country.
They were shot dead by the Alshabaab militants in Kamuthe, Garissa county.
While heading to their normal teaching business, they were shot in the midst of their way to school.As the report reveals, the alleged Alshabaab militia couldn’t be traced and no one could tell their nearby camp.
The interior CS Dr Fred Matiang’i has condemned the terror and galloped a contingent of GSU at the place of scene.
Kamuthe residents have been advised to stay indoor for their safety and report any form of an attack to the nearest police station.

It was Reported by one Robert Kibuti Embu male adult aged 53 years,and a teacher at Kamuthe primary school that today 12/1/2020 at around 02:00hrs unknown number of Suspected Alshaabab Militia stormed Kamuthe primary school where they fatally shot three teachers
They also injured one Joshua Mutua kamba male adult aged 30 years who suffered two gun shots left lower leg.
Further the Militia attacked Kamuthe police patrol base where they burned it down,they later destroyed Safaricom mast located at Kamuthe market.
All police officer’s who were present have been accounted for and none is injured.Scene Visited by police officers and documented by SOC personnel.
Bodies of deceased teachers removed to Garrisa Referral Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem. While a combined security multy agency team is combing the area in pursuit of the attackers.
