Machakos County, Kitui Governor Ngilu Eulogised Deeply the life of Late Eunice Wangari Kinyae.
In a statement delivered by Kitui County Minister for Tourism, Sports and Culture who is also the Ag. Minister for Environment and Natural Resources Hon Patrick Koki Musau during the Church service and burial ceremony of the late Eunice Wangari Kinyae.
Governor Ngilu eulogized the late Eunice as an energetic young lady who was full of happiness, full of ideas, and with a very bright outlook towards life. The Governor further said that Eunice was energetic and enterprising being a senior entrepreneur who was talented and always organised in life.
In his part H.E Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko he eulogized the late Eunice and his family as a very close hard working person and promised to finish the payment of the School Bus of Yumbuni Secondary School he had once fundraised earlier under the invitation of the Kinyae family.
In his part the County Minister Hon Patrick Koki Musau also eulogized the late Eunice as a young lady who was very hardworking and very articulate in all of her undertakings in life. He urged the present members to strictly continue observing the laid down Government measures in order to stop the spread of COVID-19 Virus.
He further warned the rogue men who preying on our School girls that the government will highly punish those who will be caught.
Further, he urged the National Senate Assembly leadership to quickly fast track passing of the impending County Allocation Revenue Bill for the purposes of funds being released to the Counties and do community development, he asked them to pass it equitably so that some Counties does not lose their budgeted funds.
He asked the Members of County Assemblies to closely work with their County Executives for the purposes of bringing development close to the electorates to improve their livelihoods.
In addition, thanked the SEKEB County Governors for their joint unity and efforts to work together for the purposes of bringing development like building a deadly disease Cancer Centre which will cater the safety of people within this region urging the National Government to support and fund such a project.
Present at the funeral ceremony was the Nairobi City County Governor H.E Gedion Mike Mbuvi Sonko, Machakos Deputy County Governor H.E Hon Eng Francis Maliti, the area MP Hon Charles Kilonzo, Machakos Town Mp Hon Victor Munyaka, Hon Alice Nganga, Hon Alice Wahome, Machakos County Women Representative Hon Joyce Kamene a.k.a Kasimbi, Kirinyaga Women Representative Hon Wangui Ngirici.
The area DCC Mr Mwangulu, area MCA Hon Nicholas Mutuku among other several other senior top Government representatives from various National and County Governments Ministries including several Members of County Assemblies from the SEKEB region, Nairobi, Murang’a, Kirinyaga among others.
