Kitui Governor Ngilu Express CONCERNS Over Ongoing CLIDP Projects

On Thursday, May 6, 2021 -Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu expressed concern over unresponsive Community Level Development Projects, CLIDP.

Making remarks shortly after the tabling of a special cabinet paper in today’s early morning senior management team meeting, Governor Ngilu put to task concerned Chief Officers to come up with a strategy through which organized community groups would benefit from these tenders considered unresponsive.

Reminding them of the time frame through which these projects can only be implemented, Governor Ngilu encouraged the team to ensure a maximum number of CLIDP projects were fully implemented and functional.

In today’s meeting, full reports on the status of CLIDP projects were tabled. The reports included lists of complete, unresponsive, and ongoing community-level Development Projects.
