Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe (EGH) earlier today held a meeting with a caucus of all trade unions representing different sections of staff in Kitui.
The meeting discussed county employees issues that needed the county leadership’s intervention to better service delivery in the county and strive to achieve increased productivity of the workforce.
The officials thanked the Governor for his continued efforts towards improving the welfare of the employees through the timely salary payments, the ECDE teachers confirmation to permanent and pensionable terms, a working medical cover despite the current cash crunch in the country and the consideration of some staff members in his recent appointments.
In his remarks, Governor Malombe assured the officials that the staff welfare will be safeguarded under his administration but called on all county employees to selflessly work towards improving services in their departments towards the realization of his development agenda. (The Kitui Promise)
