Kitui County Public Service Board has reiterated its earlier statements that the commission does not engage in monkey business while doing its work.
The Commission led by chairperson Dr. Florence Makindi has warned the public and candidates against giving out money to anyone because the commission doesn’t ask for a bribe or money to employ county staff.
A tough-speaking chairperson has warned the public and those seeking Employment in kitui County Government not to engage in fishy Monkey business saying any suspected elements will be handed over to DCI and EACC for prosecution.
“If the commission suspects that any of the short-listed CO Candidates has been involved in bribery, his or her documents will be discarded” The board Chair Makindi has said.
In the last few days, some criminal elements used Facebook and WhatsApp accounts to impersonate commissioners to extort money from unsuspected individuals promising to assist them.
The commission has since reported the matter which is under investigation by DC, the TCD digital report.
