Kitui Catholic priests Lauds Ngilu leadership

Governor Charity Ngilu’s government has been lauded for its support to youth and talent.

This was reiterated by Fr. Bernard Kimuli during a colourful celebration of marriage for 9 families attended by hundreds of people at St. Peter Kangau Catholic Church in Mutune Parish, Kitui Central Sub County on Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Fr. Kimuli hurled praises to the County Government for its support to the youths from Kangau, Mutune and Wanzua areas during the National Catholic Drama and Music Festivals held in Malindi.

Speaking shortly after the ceremony, Mr. Benedict Musengele from the area who is the Head of Research at COMESA in Lusaka, Zambia, he echoed the clergy’s compliments adding that the residents should gratify Governor Ngilu for her support in preparations for the marriage celebration of the families and development projects in the area.

The Governor was represented by Education and ICT Chief Officer Geoffrey Changangu and women leaders; Queen Masila (Mbinduke nelinda)-Kitui South, Daisy Muli -General Secretary, Kenya County Government Workers Union Kitui County Branch, Ann Mwanzia-Kitui West, Peninah Mutinda-Kitui East among others.
