Kitui Bishop laid to Rest As Ngilu Calls for Kamba Unity



Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has extended calls for the unity of Kamba community ahead of the 2022 general elections.

Speaking in Kitui Central Sub county today, Governor Ngilu said there was need for the region’s leaders to shun political duels, incessant political fights and generally working at cross-purposes.

“We want our leaders to shy away from petty politics of counties and focus on the national platform.

That’s where our people can benefit from the 85% of the national cake”. Said Ngilu.

On the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), Governor Ngilu said *there was need for the Kamba community to support the report promising to rally the public behind it ahead of the planned referendum next year.
