COVID-19: Dagoreti MP faces prosecution as 4 More Cases confirmed

Dagoreti MP Kiarie might face the dock this week after posting false, alarming and fake information on Coronavirus victims in Kenya, COUNTY DIARY reports.

Meanwhile Kenya on Sunday confirmed four more Covid-19 cases, according to a daily press release by the Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe.

“In the last 24-hrs a total of 69 samples from suspected cases of coronavirus have been analysed in our various laboratories, out of those we have received confirmation that four people have tested positive for the disease” – Mutahi Kagwe, said

The CS urged the employers to kindly release employees on time in order to be home before the curfew. In the event they leave late they should provide accommodation for their employees.

The CS revealed that “the government have noted that misinformation is doing the rounds on social media were a leader in the country is claiming that there are over 7000 people in mandatory quarantine and while this may ultimately be the case it is simply, at the moment, not true…” – the state will prosecute such individuals. Mutahi Kagwe, CS Health, said.
