Gatundu south outspoken Member of parliament hon. Moses Kuria has criticized mount Kenya Governors for not doing enough to uplift the lives of the poor in the region.
The fiery legislator echoed kitui governor HE Charity Ngilu for launching life-changing projects for the people of kitui and beyond.
Kitui county garment plant popularly known as kicotec has continued to get approval from leaders across the country, as the county sew its way to success.
Moses said the chiefs uniforms will be manufactured from kitui and wondered, “what the governors from mount Kenya are doing.He also lauded makueni Governor prof kivutha kibwana for the establishment of County milk plant in the dry county,
“in a video that went viral, Moses is heard telling the governors to emulate kitui charity ngilu.Counties must initiate life-changing projects, and if possible benchmark in kitui, Kuria added.
Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiangi was in kitui last week to access the capacity of the garment plants, speaking after the tour the no-nonsense Interior CS said he is impressed by what the governor of kitui is doing and promised to give kitui county serious business going forward.
