The County Government of Kitui will upgrade Kanziko Health facility to a level 4 hospital, Kitui Governor Dr Julius Malombe (EGH) has said.
While speaking at Kanziko in Kitui South, Governor Malombe said the upgrading of the facility will greatly improve its capacity for disease diagnosis and treatment.
Further, having constituted all departments of his government, the governor said his administration will fast-track development across the county.
The County Government will advertise the Community Level Infrastructure Development Programme (CLIDP) projects next week in the dailies.
The county chief was speaking at Kanziko during the laying to rest ceremony of the late Mama Dorcas Ndinda Mutambu (Mrs Kyungu) earlier today.
