Project Will Provide Water To 5000 Households Says DG Dr. Wathe

MUTOMO-More than 500 households in Mutomo Sub-County will reap major benefits soon after the much anticipated completion of Kangu Kangu water project, Kitui Deputy Governor, Dr. Wathe Nzau has said.
Speaking while on an impromptu visit of the project site, Kitui County Deputy Governor, Dr. Wathe Nzau expressed optisim on the impact of the project to the residents.
“This sustainable water project, funded by the Kitui County Government is going to empower these people for generations to come.” Dr. Wathe said.
500 cubic litres
This visit comes moments after water engineers ran a successful pressure test on the 5000 Cubic Litre pipeline.
Set for completion in a week, the massive project will benefit more than 5000 household.
The deputy Governor was on a follow up of the just completed artificial insemination exercise. He was accompanied by Emmanuel Kisangau, CECM for water, irrigation and livestock development.
