It’s almost inevitable that Kalonzo Musyoka will be in the ballot box in the 2027 presidential contest, it’s not clear if Raila Odinga will back him or not but the die is cast.
Kalonzo Musyoka has been supporting the ODM boss Raila Odinga religiously and faithfully for the last fifteen years in vain.
Many people urge that if the Wiper boss was on the ballot in 2022, the politics of Kenya could be different today – By continued support of Raila has kept the good man in the cold for the last fifteen years.
Chances are if he runs for President in 2027, he will be in Government either through cooperation or post-elections agreement, if he backs Raila for the fourth time, that will be all, the results will not be different – he will be in opposition again.
“You cannot do the same thing on and on and accept different results” According to the political pundits Raila will make noise in the next five years, in 2027 he will run for the 6th time and later join President Ruto for the second face of a real handshake.
In 2027, Raila will be 84 years and Kalonzo will be 73 years what you do with this information is upon you.
