As Kenyans grapple and scratch their heads to understand what the heck are the on-going Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) reports are, the eminent Wiper Democratic leader has taken the debate to the next level.
The Wiper Presidential candidate and former Vice President Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has a new proposition on gubernatorial terms – Kalonzo wants the term limit for Governors abolished.
The Wiper leader was speaking on Wednesday when he hosted Kamba Leaders at Machakos county, specifically at Stony Athi.
Speakers after speaker, and invited leaders agreed to put aside their perceived political differences and work together, and in tandem for the sake of development for the Lower Eastern region.
The meeting was attended by almost all leaders from the Lower Eastern region, save for Makueni Governor who was not present for the reasons not imidiately known to the The COUNTY DIARY.
Meanwhile, Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua is on record saying he will be working hand in hand with his erstwhile political foe, Kamba kingpin and supremo Wiper leader Dr Stephen Kalonzo.
The Lower Eastern Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rally is expected to culminate in Kitui on Saturday 1st, where all leaders have pledged to attend.
Kitui Governor Hon Charity Ngilu is the Lower Eastern BBI co-ordinator.
