The Azimio-Oka Coalition party principal Rt Hon Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday returned back to Kitui South to drum up support for the Azimio presidential candidate hon Raila Odinga at Ikutha market.
The Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka defended the Jubilee government track record in the region including the completion of Kitui-Kibwezi road and called for the speed compensation of the people whose land was affected during the contruction of the road.
At some point, HE Kalonzo Musyoka had to warn the little known ODM candidate Mumo Kingi who had ferried twenty supporters to heckle other leaders during the rally.
Kalonzo cautioned Mumo of a possible IEBC dismissal due to his election offences if he continues to misbehave by bringing hecklers to political rallies.
However, the rally went on peacefully as Musyoka promised to come back to the area.
The nondescript candidate had thought Musyoka was coming to endorse prominent and outstanding Mp Rachael Nyamai of Jubilee party.
But he did not endorse anyone, he commented Racheal Nyamai for her popularity, terming her stellar performance as a Member of Parliament ‘a model benchmark development’.
According to the local political pundits, Kitui South Rachael Nyamai has done a wonderful job as a legislator, the people of Kitui South will continue to make the right decision in August polls.
“The impeccable performance by Racheal Kaki has showed her great determination to continue helping her people. We must all vote for her on August 8th and sent her to represent us for the third time in the 13th Parliament” a voter told the press.
