Kitui County government drastic improvement in healthcare leaves Mwikali Muema, a 62 year old woman from Mithikwani in Kitui West Sub County happy after a successful facial tumour operation in August 2018 and replacement of jaw and teeth through the support by Governor Charity Ngilu.
Appreciations to Cuban Doctors in the county led by Dr. Arelis Rabelo Castillo, a Maxillofacial surgeon at Kitui County Referall Hospital and dental technologists Josephine Mueni, Festus Nzue and other colleagues who fixed Ms Muema’s new teeth (prosthesis ).
In fulfilment of her Healthcare manifesto pledge, Governor Ngilu has equipped with enough drugs and employed medical staff in all health facilities in the county.
Ms Ngilu also recently launched the health flagship project, *Kitui County Health Insurance Cover* dubbed K-CHIC that is affordable and targets all households in Kitui County.
