Hope as KCHIC Takes Care of Child illness in Kitui Refferal Hospital.
It was all joy for the family of Angel Esther from Mikuyuni in Miambani ward, Kitui Central as her needy parents walked free and boastful having had their daughter discharged from the County Refferal hospital _thanks to KCHIC* for clearing the bill.
Esther’s condition was discovered after she was born with the condition(tumor) which could have cost them at least Ksh.200,000 if not covered by the insurance cover.
The treatment left her parents smiling since they just had to swip their KCHIC Card and walk home freely.
Dr Adullo, recently employed under Governor’s Ngilu’s leadership says that the support they have been getting from Governor Ngilu’s leadership, ranging from CT Scan machine, adequate personel, necessary drugs and their accompanying drugs significantly contributed to the successful operation.
‘ We as doctors, nurses and every staff in health facilities appreciate the good support from Kitui Governor that has enabled us carry out daily activities with minimum challenges, we are happy to be working under such conditions”. Said Dr Adullo.
After the successful operation, little Angel Esther was taken home by the officer in charge of Public Health and Sanitation in Kitui Central Sub-County Faith Mutinda.
