Everyone is aware that the Mutongoi television network has emerged as the best television for Kamba-speaking natives. As if that is not enough, the communications company has announced its plans to unveil a new spanking radio station soon dubbed Mutongoi FM radio.
The newly established Mutongoi Fm radio station in Ukambani will be finally on the air after running its programs online for some time, the company CEO Mr John Marete has said.
The new Mutongoi FM is housed in a block that boasts a state-of-the-art fully-equipped radio studio capable of various productions that will enable a continuous flow of information to the Kamba community and an even wider audience.
Kitui and her environs will be listening to Mutongoi Fm on 103.3.
Makueni, Kibwezi and her environs 100.2 FM, Mombasa, Voi and her environs will be 102.9Fm, a communiqué seen by The County Diary showed.
Other Kamba Radio Stations have been struggling to expand their frequencies in the Ukambani region but have fallen short of their expectations.

The establishment of Mutongoi Fm will be a big blow to poorly managed radio stations in Ukambani because the Campany CEO Mr Marete is a distinguished media personality having worked with one of the top media houses in Kenya.
In less than one year since the launch of the Mutongoi television station, the platform is currently taking over the airwaves and quickly becoming a talk of the town.
The station is associated with young Industrious and innovative Media Personality Mr John Marete who is also The CEO of Weru Television Limited – which owns Weru TV, Weru FM and now Mutongoi TV.
The Management of the Mutongoi Television broadcast is said to be driven by professionalism, high-tech innovation, superb presentation and prowess in the digital marketing segment.
Just Less than one year, the Station is already cementing its Space in digital broadcasting Space with quality programs, verifiable News reporting, entertainment segments and educative programs.
The station is broadcasting its contents using the Kamba language.
