NAIROBI, Monday: Kitui Governor H.E Charity Ngilu today held a meeting with Ukambani elected leaders in Nairobi.
The preparatory rendezvous agenda was to make plans for the upcoming Lower Eastern region Building Bridges Innitiative (BBI) pegged on 1st February 2020, The COUNTY DIARY reports.
The leaders present deliberated on the issues they want addressed and included in the BBI report as the Lower Eastern region bargain.
They leaders urged Ukambani people to turn up in large numbers on the Saturday event.
In attendance were, Dr. Makali Mulu -Kitui Central, Dan Maanzo – Makueni,Boni Mwalika-Kitui Rural, Patrick Makau- Mavoko,Senator Enoch Kiio, Irene Kasalu-Kitui County Mp, Charles Nguna – Mwingi West, Joshua Mwalyo-Masinga, Paul Nzengu-Mwingi North, Stephen Mule- Matungulu, Dr. Gedion Mulyungi-Mwingi Central, Joshua Kimilu -Kaiti, Nzambia Kilome.Kamene Kasimbi.
Senator Kabaka, Dr. Rachael Kaki and Nimrod Mbai sent their apologies.
