The residents of Ithookwe village have something to be proud of after several months of frustrations from the company that was doing kitui kibwezi road construction.
The company destroyed their lands to make roads blocking all their pathways as their doing their work, the residents sought help from different leaders, different offices until advocate Mr Nzilu Nzioka stepped in to help.
Because the residents could not afford a lawyer, they were hopeless until Mr Nzilu a lawyer from the area stepped in and wrote demand letters to the company, the company wrote back and agreed to do all the necessary work.
The residents are now happy.
