Abrasive Member of County assembly for Mutonguni ward Eng Mati has called for Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission(EACC) & Directorate of criminal investigations (DCI) to investigation Kenya Rural Roads authority (KERRA ) department in Kitui west, the COUNTY DIARY Reports.

Mutonguni MCA Hon Eng Musee Mati calls upon DCI and EACC to investigate roads done under KERRA in Kitui.

Speaking when he attended the burial of the late Mr Fredrick Kavuwa ndata in Mutonguni, Kitui west, Eng Mati said it’s unfortunate that the office of Kerra in Kitui county has continued to be Compromised by members of national assembly.

Noting the shoddy road work done from Ithekethe, kitamwiki, kiatine, muthale, Kwa mbele, the 12km of road was poorly done which Costed the public money worthy over 5.6M under Kenya Rural Roads Authority (Kerra)

According to the scope of work done -the contractor may have spent less than 1M, meaning the work was poorly done, he accused area Mp Vethi Nyenze for doing nothing over the matter, Eng Musee told Cheering crowd .

The no-nonsense MCA Mati condemned Kitui Kerra Engineer for officiating shoddy work and called upon the DCI and EACC to investigate all roads done under KERRA.

“We are not going to allow public funds to be embezzled, those who are being compromised by Leaders will find their work hard in Kitui”, MCA augmented.

The Director-General KERRA Eng Kandie Should look into the matter and bring a competent officer in kitui.

Kitui KERRA Eg mbavu Sayo should come clean and explain if he is being compromised by Mps, Eng Musee Mati told the Cheering crowd of Mourners.

He further called for auditing of all Kerra roads in Kitui County.
