Dr Wathe Urges Parents In Kitui To Invest More In Education



Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau has termed education as a ‘ key and critical component in society’ and urged the parents and the communities in Kitui to invest in academic pursuit.

“Education will lead to job creation and poverty eradication” said the Deputy Governor.

Dr Wathe was speaking at Usiani Secondary School in Miambani Ward, Kitui Central Sub County, where he was representing Governor Charity Ngilu during a funds drive in aid of fencing the school compound and repair of classroom’s floor.

Present at the fete were the Kitui County Chief of Staff Chrispas Ileli, the Principal Usiani Secondary School Julia Mugambi and Priest in charge of Kasyala Parish Father Cosmus Ndumbi among other National and County Governments Officers.
