On Wednesday, 31 May, 2023 – Kitui Deputy Governor H.E. Augustine Kanani was among high profile leaders who addressed Residents at Mwingi Level 4 Hospital.
The DG had accompanied the Governor H.E. Dr. Julius Malombe alongside USAID KENYA officials for the commissioning of a Sh. 27.7 million oxygen generating plant at the facility.
The commissioning and handover ceremony was also graced by the USAID Kenya East Africa Deputy Mission Director Bert Ubamadu.
The residents welcomed the project and lauded the county government and her development partners for continued efforts to guarantee them a functional healthcare system.
