The County Government of Nandi under the able leadership of HE Governor Sang’ has completed the establishment of the COUNTY ICU facilities with 7 ICU beds at Kapsabet County Referral Hospital & 3 ICU beds in Nandi Hills Hospital.
These 10 ICU beds are ready for use.
“We’ve also procured an additional 5 ICU beds which will be available in a month’s time, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
The move is aimed at escalating our preparedness towards handling #Covid19 in the Nandi County.
The County has over four Positive Cases already confirmed & over 50 samples taken for testing from the contacts, we’ve set up 312 isolation beds across our health facilities to further bolster our preparedness, Governor Sang’ revealed.
This has enabled the county Government to meet the directive by Ministry Of Health Kenya that every county establishes 300 bed capacity isolation facilities.
