Governor Ngilu’s empowerment fund continues impacting lives

41 organized groups pooled from the larger Mwingi North sub county have joined in the bandwagon of beneficiaries of the Kitui County Empowerment fund program.
A total of Ksh. 1,960,000 was distributed amongst beneficiary groups, a plan hatched by Governor Charity Ngilu to empower the livelihoods of Kitui residents.
Speaking in mivukoni village, Mwingi North Sub-county, trade and cooperatives chief officer, Mr. Fernandes Mbindu encouraged the other residents witnessing the disbursement of the cheques to follow suit and apply for the revolving fund currently in circulation.
Mr. Farnandes was accompanied by director for civic education Mr. Shadrack Musyoki and Edith William from the Kitui County Empowerment fund, KCEF.
