KITUI Governor Charity Ngilu is joining the elite group of eminent persons to serve in a Election Observer Mission to Nigeria.
The mission’s task is to monitor this year’s election in Nigeria.
Governor Ngilu’s nomination underscores her democratic credentials of a relentless revolutionary, adding another cap in her illustrious political career. Governor Ngilu is the only Kenyan selected among an -A- list of prominent personalities from across the world to observe the Nigerian Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The election will be conducted on February 16 2019.
This appointment is the culmination of Governor Ngilu’s chequered political career, underpinned by a formidable history of fighting to promote democracy, human rights and women Empowerment.
The nomination is great honor for Kitui County and Kenya at large.
