Sh. 150M Set Aside For Kitui Polytecnic As Government Vows To Upgrade Institutions

The National Government is set to spend 150 million for the upgrading of Mulango Vocational Training Centre into a Technical vocational college if the views collected today will be a thing to go by.

This was revealed by Mr Maingi William, the Assistant County Commissioner Katulani sub County and also a representative of the National Government today at a Mulango church in Mulango ward Kitui Central Sub County.

Mr. Joshua Kanandu, a Director in the County’s Ministry of Education, ICT and Youth Development said today’s activity was meant to create more spaces for the youth considering the many benefits that would benefit area residents once the polytechnic is upgraded.

The initiative was fully endorsed and drew attendance from all the 7 villages of Mulango ward.
