Form Groups to Benefit from Government Funds and Programs Governor Ngilu and CAS Shebesh Urge to the Youth.
By Barrack Muli.
In their address to youths working at the Kitui Youths Skills and Enterprise Centre (KIYOSEC) today, Governor Ngilu and the Chief Adminstrative Secretary Rachael Shebesh have called on young people to continue forming groups to benefit from government funds and programs.
This, they say, is easier because the groups act as security for the funding by the government.
“As we continue to grow, we must acknowledge that development of any kind does not just happen, it is made to happen”. Said Governor Ngilu.
CAS Shebesh said development must be sustainable hence the need to invest in the youth “the greatest national resource”.
Also present was Ms Faith Kasiva, the CAS State Department of Gender who called on the youth to support the county government’s initiatives to grow Kitui.
