Kitui County Minister for Tourism, Sports and Culture Hon Patrick Koki Musau has reiterated the county government commitment in implementing the Governor’s Ngilu five point Manifesto.
The CEM was speaking during the solemn ceremony of the late Stephen Ndile, the vocal Minister was representing the Governor Ngilu
Thousands of mourners, friends and relatives of the late Stephen Ndile Mbevo gathered for a Church service and funeral ceremony at Musengo Village in Mutonguni Ward, Kitui West Sub-County.
The late Stephen Ndile Mbevo was a former General Manager for the National Bank of Kenya, he was the Husband of Kitui County Jubilee Party Nominated MCA who is also the former Vice Chairperson of County Assemblies Forum-CAF Hon Esther Kalunda Ndile and also Elder brother of Former Mutonguni MCA Hon Barindi Mbevo.
The late met his untimely death through a tragic road accident which occurred on Sunday, 26th January 2020 near Matuu Town along Nairobi – Garissa Highway as he was going back to Nairobi from home.
The County Executive for Tourism was representing Kitui County Governor H.E Hon Charity Kaluki Ngilu. Hon Patrick Musau thanked the Kitui County MCA’s for the good working relationship they have shown with our Governor H.E Hon Charity Kaluki Ngilu and also urged them to fastrack passing the most crucial Bills/Legislations touching on development projects which directly are going to positively impact on the real Musangi of Kitui County once they resume their sittings from recess.
He further notified the residents present that the County Government of Kitui had advertised Community Level Infrastructure Development Projects [CLIDP] which will be undertaken this Financial Year 2019/2020 and thus the interested people should visit Kitui County’s Website to log in and apply.
He also asked the people of Kitui County to fully embrace the BBI since it is going to unite all Kenyans and bring inclusivity amongst all leaders at different posts in Kenya.
Other leaders present was the former Nairobi City County Deputy Governor H.E Hon Jonathan Mueke, Kitui County Women Representative Hon Dr Irene Kasalu, the area Member of National Assembly Hon Vethi Nyenze, several Kitui County MCA’S led by Kitui County Assembly Deputy Speaker who is Mulango Ward MCA Hon Kasee Musya, Hon kawaya Nuu ward, Hon Kalumaita Migwani, Hon Jane Kauwi Ward, Hon Waziri Wakari Nominated, Hon Munuve Kaziku Ward, Hon Ndumbu Nominated, Hon Elizabeth Nominated, Hon Kyene Nzambani, Hon Kavolonza Mui Mard, Hon Yaamu Matinyani Ward, Hon Reginah Nominated plus other several MCA’s from other Counties representing the Counties Assemblies Forum-CAF among others.
