The much waited Mutyambua KMTC campus at Mbitini Ward Makueni is now ready. Mbitini is now a beehive of activities as Hundreds of Medical students who were shortlisted in the first intake prepare to report on 7th September 2021.

This will the sixth operational KMTC campus in Makueni County on going courtsey of Prof. Philip Kaloki, the former KMTC Chairman. The population in this institution will change the area economically. It create jobs for youth, women and also become fodder for members of the local business community.

This development record by Prof. Kaloki has earned him fame, repute, political muscles and the once Kibwezi MP is now the man of the moment. His name dominates the talk everytime Makueni people begin a talk on Kibwana succesion story. So common is the name that most people now call him “Kaloki wa Maendeeyo” which means the man of development.

Kaloki topped a recent opinion poll that sort to establish the most preferred gubernatorial candidate in Makueni ahead of 2022 polls. The Professor of economics is not new to development, he established 59 new secondary schools in partnership with foreign organizations from 2007 to 2012 when he was Kibwezi MP. He was ranked among the best CDF utilizers then.

Prof. Kaloki has in the recent traversed Makueni County having one on one meetings with members of the business community, Churches and various women and youth groups.

Other KMTC campuses constructed by Prof. Philip Kaloki during his tenure as National Chairman are; Wote KMTC, Tawa KMTC, Mbuvo KMTC, Kilungu KMTC and Makindu KMCT. This medical colleges have costed billions of shillings and the trickle down effect will be felt by generations to come.
