The County Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning had today (Friday 22nd October 2021 kicked off Land clinics in the county with the first exercise held at Kabati in Kitui West Subcounty.
While addressing the residents, County Executive Committee Member for Lands and Physical planning Samson Masila said the clinics will help solve the many land complaints from the residents across the vast county.
“As a ministry, we are coming to the people to solve their land issues and *ensuring they do not have to travel to offices and suffer cost implications”. Said Masila.
According to the CECM, the clinics will further guarantee that their is minimal traffic of residents visiting county headquarters for land complaints.
Rose Mwangangi, a resident of Kabati commended the county government for the devolved exercise saying it will help in handling issues ranging from double allocation of land titles, fraud, and grabbing of public land, among others.
The Ministry will carry out land clinics across the 8 Sub counties to ensure residents benefit maximally from the exercise.
