The Untold success story of Dr. Penina Malonza, the Incoming Kitui Women representative in August polls.
The former Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Peninah Malonza who is gunning for Kitui Women representative job has continued to win banquets of praises for her escalated and selfless efforts has touched a number of countless lives at the helm of Non Governmental Organisation.
She was growth strategy country director; Today we see celebrate her the more after tears of joy ran over Tseikuru town church where a new compassion centre has opened n sponsored 180 children to be supported in school fee payment, health interventions, training in lively hood skills, social n spiritual nourishment.
Dr. Peninah Malonza found Kitui county with only two projects and in her tenure she increased them to 35 projects in Mwingi North, central, west, Kitui west, Kitui central, Kitui East, Kitui Rural n Kitui south.
The 8 constituencies in Kitui county has been awarded with over 4 projects. Today through her intervention one more has been added in mwingi North.
Miss Penina Malonza is the hard-bred daughter of Mutha Ward, in Kitui South and posses a mettle coupled with a wealth of experience that will bring order out of the chaos that have characterised the Women Rep post.
Before going politics in 2013 as Dr Malombe’s Deputy Governor, she was working as the Country Director in- charge of Compassion growth, one of the best run NGOs in Kenya.
Dr Penina did not abandon the activities of the Compassion, she continued to give guidance while serving as Kitui Deputy during her free time.
Compassion NGO based in Kenya has touched a countless number beneficiaries in several Wards in Kitui county, Muumoni ward, Kitui South, and Sombe – and equally across Kenya.
The program is in the entire Kitui county, Mwingi North 19, Kitui region 17. The organization supports a grand total of 36 offices supporting over 12,480 children in the county.
The NGO also supports vulnerable pupils in school fees, livehood skills, health social skills, health, social and spiritual support.
Over 34,200 family members benefit indirectly, reads a section of it’s website portal.
