Kitui deputy governor Dr Wathe Nzau, on Saturday attended the funeral of the late Munyithya Mwanthi who for many years was the IPC moderator.
Mwingi Central Member of Parliament Dr. Gedion Mulyungi also attended the burial ceremony and conveyed the condolences messages of the former vice president HE kalonzo Musyoka.
The funeral was in Mwingi central ward mathyakani sub location,The Deputy Governor was accompanied by Minister for basic education ICT and youth development Hon kivoto,Bishop kyavoa,Hon MCA Mary Kanini Mwingi central ward,MCA Hon kawaya nuu ward and Honourable Maema kivou ward .
Kitui county government promised to continue supporting Mwingi bible school as they had agreed with the moderator.The deputy governor assured the kitui residents that they will continue with their development Agenda across all the wards in kitui county.
