Kitui Deputy Governor Dr. Wathe Nzau (situated at center) has called on Mwingi residents to invest in bee farming since Kitui honey has been declared the best in the World because of its good value.
The Deputy Governor was speaking at Mathuki secondary school in Mwingi Central Sub County, where he represented Governor Charity Ngilu as the Chief Guest by donating ksh. 130,000, during the school funds, drive which managed to collect more than Ksh. 750,000, yesterday.
Dr. Wathe Nzau commended the Mui Ward MCA Hon Kavolonza for putting aside his differences with the County Executive to ensure smooth progress in development works in the area.
Also present were the School Principal Mr. Kilavi and the BoM Chairman Mwema Kilungya, among other invited guests.
