Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau on Thursday visited Mwingi for a high-level community meeting, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
The hardworking DG was received by Mwingi Town Administrator Grace Kimanzi, Mwingi Central Deputy Sub County Administrator Elizabeth Mwende among others.
Dr Wathe Nzau visit is expected to quell the political temperatures in larger Mwingi, he arrived at Mwingi town at Noon to join Mwingi town residents to mark the Community Service Day celebration.
The event is organized by Mwingi Town Administration in Collaboration with other stakeholders in Mwingi to collect garbage in the high litter generating points within the town.
Speaking during the meeting the DG reiterated the government commitment to implement the government agenda in line with the Governor’s Ngilu Manifestos and called upon leaders to support the government of day.
