Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau has reiterated the Kitui Government Development Calender and urged people of Kitui to keep up supporting the government.
The DG spoke on Saturday when he joined hundreds of mourners during the burial ceremony of the late Pastor Samuel Kathanu Kinyungu of Munyuni DCC, at Ngiluni Village in Mui Ward, Mwingi Central Sub County.
The Deputy Governor, lauded H.E Governor Charity Ngilu for elevating Mwingi town to Municipality status.
Wathe encouraged Mwingi residents to support the Municipality, because its growth spur growth in the area to become a County in future.
Dr Wathe also, requested Kitui people to accept the BBI report as it is and join Governor Charity Ngilu and other National leaders, who are giving it their full support because ultimately, will highly benefit Kitui people and the entire Ukambani region in many ways.
