Dr Wathe Nzau tours Mwingi for cattle Insemination exercise amid discontent from local leaders.

Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau who is leading the exercise of county cattle Insemination program on Tuesday 22 January 2019 toured Mwingi Central sub county, during his busy schedule of cattle oestrous synchronization program.

The DG Visited Musukini and had to find time to inspect Musukini Borehole and storage tank county project worth over 8million.

Pursuant to the Governor Ngilu agenda No.1 food and water Dr wathe told The County diary that the government is committed to implement the election pledges to the letter,Musukini water project is almost complete. DG was in accompany of by area MCA Hon. Mary Kanini.

According to Dr wathe, the county government has in the past one year lived up to its promise of lessening the pain and burden of Kitui people through key projects.

The deputy governor who cited the success of Kchic in lessening the pain of Kitui patients, the establishment of kicotec which has employed about 600 young people and provision of tractors and certified seeds in order to achieve food security.

“These and many others are testimony that Her Excellency governor Charity Ngilu is committed to change Kitui for better.

He also noted that the county government has equipped all the 14 level 4 hospitals across the county. He said there has been installation of diagnostic equipment in all the mentioned hospitals.
Going forward, Dr Nzau said the county executive is committed to establish a sound and respectable working relationship with the county assembly, saying it was now time to deliver services to the people but not politicking.
