Dr Wathe Meets Chinese Water Investor In Nairobi

Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau on Friday represented Governor Charity Ngilu in a meeting organized by the Management of Erdemann Property Limited, a Chinese Company based in Mwingi town, at their Nairobi offices.

The company is seeking ways of partnership with Kitui County Government to improve the status of water supply from Kiambere Dam to most parts of Mwingi North, Mwingi Central and Mwingi West Sub Counties.

The CECM for Agriculture, Water and Livestock Development Emmanuel Kisangau who was accompanying the Deputy Governor, welcomed the move saying Governor Charity Ngilu is keen to ensure continued water provision to all residents is fully implemented to curb water scarcity in all parts of Kitui County.

Also present were KIMWASCO M.D George Kinuba and KIMWASCO Board Chairman Josphat Mulyungi, among other senior officers from KIMWASCO and Department of Water in Kitui County.
